There should be an eyelet on each end of the rear crossbar. Tie a bowline to one of them, then go around the pvc pipe and back to the eyelet, then go to the the first sliding guide on the crossbar, then to the next space on the pvc pipe and back to the same sliding guide, then go to the next sliding guide and repeat the process all the way. Remember when lacing try and keep the line going in a fashion that will not cause undue friction and try and keep the sliding guides lined up with the slots in the tramp where the pvc runs through. I then use a flat bar to tighten. I place it under the rear beam between the beam and the lacing and pull up to tighten, I may do this 2 or 3 times. Remember the tramp is best tightened at the warmest time of day in the sun if possible.
