After a call from the department head of Barcks and Wrecks he has stated it only be for tax paying citizens of Delray Beach. Sorry I thought we were on to something here that would benefit the group overall! I do not see why every beach or lake bordering town does not allocate an area by law to non-motorized boat access. We truely have gone without a major incident since it's inception in the 80's (fortunately). I'll find out who decided in the begining to drop the boats on the beach,Delray was a sleepy mainstreet coastal town,I guess the time was right. Without incident? I remember, albeit vaquely, this guy who waxed the bottoms of his hulls.........and the life guard said, "...this is a boat launching/landing strip area...lay on the beach/runway at your own risk..."
