Is there some way of determining how many actual class members (by virtue of owning an F16-compliant boat) use this forum?

I just bought a maricat 4.3, I believe its F16 compliant!

How much does the Maricat weigh?

Never mind, I found it. It is 95 kg. But I don't know whether that includes all the same stuff as weight for the F16.

Its an old boat so I think it will be well over the F16 min.

When I bought my Spitfire, it was grandfathered in to the F16 class. I gather this is no longer the case, which is a pity. I'd have been quite happy to race head to head. Meanwhile, I remain interested in F16 as a concept, and take part in this forum because of the relative similarity of these boats (and the Shadow).

On average my boats meet the weight limit (Spitfire @ 135kg and Shadow @ 99kg), and I can sail one-up or two up. Or did I miss the point? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Although I would personally included Dermot and Simon as (grandfathered) F16 sailors.

Here in Chattanooga; Jody and Olson/Lienti, TShan in Birmingham, and I think there are 3 in Atlanta.

There are 7 F-16s in the Annapolis/Washington/Baltimore area that I know of. At least 4 lurk here, maybe more. Ed
