I know i've seen threads about it somewhere, but my search-fu isn't brining them up.

Suggestions?

Not yet. I was hoping someone who had used them knew if they would work for this application.

I didn't have much luck with them on a vinyl tramp several years ago. You have to loosen the tramp, insert them and hope they don't fall out while you are re-lacing.

If you have the "Wide" part of the rail slot in the front, and that is where you are loosing your tramp, you could take the tramp off and flip the rail 180. There are those that caution against it but... Plus it is a fair bit of work.

I'm much too lazy to flip the bars, so I suppose I'll try the tramp clamps. They're only $10.

I could probably use masking tape or something to hold them in place while I relace my trampoline.

Must be one of those Amish tramps? Not a Hobie part there. May be a rope diameter issue.

You can probably help prevent the issue when lacing if this is a three piece.

If you start by tensioning the aft only... the tramp slides aft in the side bars and then reaches the openings. Then, when you tension the center, it pulls out.

Better technique:

Pull the tramp halves all the way forward in the side bars. Use a couple of the center lace grommets and pull tension to seat the side ropes into the side bars (tie off).

Tension the aft laces moderately. Tension the entire length down the center, then finish with full tension on the aft lacing.

Guilty as charged. Fairly happy with my amish tramp so far. Pinching my pennies until I can afford a muuuuuuuch newer, used boat.
