I like that. Nice clean set up. Would like to get a lead on where it can be had. Thanks. Ed

after watching my friends dolphin striker break while in use last summer.. i dont push or pull my boat (on wheels or water) by that area,... isnt that a lot of strain on that striker (when righting)?

Exactly! It should attach to the beam. Looks a bit short as well. Also, the righting line need to be tightened with bungee to keep from dragging in the water.
Just some quick observations.

All the load is on the bridle lines, so there is very minimal load on the striker post which is solid stainless anyway so its not a problem.

Works great and is very simple and clean too. Has been used in Euroland for quite some years now with no complaints or breakages.

Where and how do you attach the bridal lines, and do you think one could fabricate a similar system using a boom from a Prindle 16 or 18 as they have goose neck fittings that swivel.
Thanks

Or, indtall shroud extenders. We right the ARC21 in zero wind easily.

Will shroud extenders work on my nacra 6.0 ? It has a some what of a captive mast base like the older SC-20.
Thanks

I imagine, as long as the mast can't slip out.

Here's a pic of an adapter that a friend of mine made to install a righting pole on a 17. Attaching it to the beam on the 17 is virtually impossible. This has been used for over a year with no problems.

Jeremy; I made a pole mount bracket from that picture for my Hobie 18. The only issue that I had was that it splashed a lot of water up through the center tramp lacing. I am trying to resolve that issue.
