I was looking back at the old spring Fever Pages and realized how much things have changed in a short time period. Only 1 N20, and 1 Tiger in the mix in the year 2000. Look at the results page at the boat breakdown. In 8 years where will be?

It would be really cool if they did something for the 14s again this year!

Hi Dan

Div 11 has scheduled the Hobie 14 Championships at the Rock Hall Annual regatta in June (eastern shore of MD) This is a three day weekend with a 12 mile down the river race on Saturday... Lots of fun with one start with lasers to chessie log cannoes.

The buoys on Saturday will have an A class, Hobie 14 and Open Cat start along with a bunch of other dinghy's. They have at least two race circles and do a great job of keeping the acton moving.

The idea is that the Hobie 16 fleet will bring out their ol 14's when their is no conflict with a 16 regatta. They got about 6 boats to agree just at the Div 11 fleet captain meeting. Seemed like a winning plan!

I'll have to plan on going to that one! I think I can muster at least 3 14s from my area. I just need to figure out how to get to Canada for the NAs.
