I am 15 and an Aussie! I sail and race a Hobie cat 14 Turbo solo in Geographe bay Busselton. we get wind speeds in the summer that vary from 35 knots to nill. last weekend i was on the wire screeming along in a 20 knot breeze when i pitch poled and was slung well past the jib!!!

im 14 and crew a hobie 18 with my dad in NC, but im trying to talk him into leting me get my oun H14. I have a history of saving our boat from colliding with other "things" (everything from other boats to docks) and falling off in the prosses.
love much

Hi, I'm 16 and I fly a Hobie 14 TJ, which I call the 'Orange Beast'. I've currently only been sailing it with the old config i.e. just the main sail, coz the jib blocks have messed up . Its still easy to good speed tho coz of my perfect mast rake and my skill (yeah rite). Anyway just saying 'Hi' as this is my first post

I'm Jan , 9 years old. I sail a Newcat 12, my grandfather bougt it for me and my younger brother Simon, 7 years old. We sail on a lake in the Netherlands. When the wind is too strong I'm afraid, then I sail my Optimist, or with my dad on his cat!

When I am bigger I like a Hobie 14

(my father helped me type this, I dont write English!)

Greetings,
Jan

hello, I'm 14, and I sail a hobie 16, though it is a class double-handed boat, i still like to sail it single-handed. though i am looking for a crew-mate cause my father's flexibility (or lack of therefore) has casue some depressions in my sailing.

-ciao

Zach Grant
14 years old in NW Florida, the Panhandle area.

I sail pretty much anything I can get my hands on, provided it goes fast. I have been winning in the Hobie Wave, but am looking to move to a crewed boat...probably the Hobie 16 (what a beast!), or onto a Laser Radial (Hey, who needs crew anyway!).

Here at my club, we have the Wave, H16, and a Hobie Dragoon. Several of our members have more high-performance cats that I get to sail on from time to time.

My last FAAAAAST sail was during the Trimaran Nationals...I got to spend the week sailing on a F28 aft cabin.

Hi i'm andrew,
i'm 13 years old and i live in the uk.
I sail a new cat f1 which is pretty good, but i've got no one to race against at my club, which is a bit of a bore so i just let the f18s lap me all the time! But sometimes i go out on a fi8.

Got a job this summer and bought myself a standard h14, which is slowing morphing into a turbo. Already got the trap on it, just need a windy day (haven't had enough wind to fly hulls recently).

I'm Alex - bought an F16 about a month ago. if you're looking for a real boat, then F16 is the class to go for. me and the skipper reckon that we're the youngest F16 sailors in the world.if we're not, then post on here to tell us..

Hey, I'm Matthew Whitehead. I own a Viper F16. It's a fun boat to sail. I think it's a perfect boat for youth cat sailing. It will actually be the boat used in the 2011 Youth Multihull Nationals in California in two summers. Great boat. If anyone is intersted, you should look into sailing for the next youth Nationals. http://championships.ussailing.org/Youth/USYMH.htm

I hope to see you all there. laugh
