[color:"blue"]I'm looking for a 40' mast for a catamaran project in Southern New England (Massachusetts). It need not be complete or even in New England. All leads welcome! Replies will forward to my real email address. [/color]

There may be one for sale at the Rudder Club, Jacksonville. Mike Tierney (RC-27 modified) either has a new 40 footer or is changing from a 44 footer. Roberts, the designer would know.

I think Mike and Rich are keeping both masts. That is why they bought a masthead spinnaker for the short mast that can be used as a fractional spinnaker for the tall mast. Mug Race = short mast, all other races = tall mast.

After all, isn't that how one design is suppose to work?

The discriptions of the masts are real vague but you might want to take a look. http://www.enterebid.com/listings/index.cfm?category=732812481
