Posts: 342 Indianapolis, IN - Midwest USA... | If you're going to stay at Grand Shores West in North Redington Beach, they have a couple of Waves available to check out for free. I've gone there for two weeks every February, for about 17 years. The Double-Tree (formerly Hilton) rents Getaways, Waves, Wave-Runners, and those stupid water tricycles.
The Lobster Pot is over-rated, over-priced and poor service. The Wine Cellar is very good, the Frog Pond is great for a big breakfast. The best hole-in-the-wall is Wahoo Seafood. The best grouper sandwich is Dockside Dave's. Crabby Bill's is touristy, but good (TIP: get carry-out from their seafood market; they'll cook it, and take it back to the beach). Don't miss the Kandy Kitchen for retro candy and ice cream.
