Hi, I've got a H20 style Tiller Connector setup on my H17. Can someone please tell me on which side of the boat the screw-in/out adjuster on the tiller goes. I seem to remember reading somewhere that is only should go on one side or the other due to interference or something...it's just that it "seems" to work OK on either end.

Nigel,
Either side will do. It's primary function anyway is just to square the rudders. When I crewed on a H20 we just put it on without really caring.
Good Luck,

It doesn't really matter. The only reason to change sides with it is to angle the tiller attachment toward the front or toward the back. Typically people angle the attachment toward the front so that would put the adjuster on the Starboard side.

I use a quick release pin instead of a screw. It works quite nicely.
