I inherited a Hobie 14 that is in need of new hulls. They are really soft, cracked and virtual junk. I found another 1 on craigslist and the hulls are solid BUT ther is a 2" gash on the inside of starboard hull. I need some advice on if/how to fix it.

Check out the HCA-NA website (www.hca-na.org) The Hotline magazine has been doing a series called "This Old Hobie" and they have a section on hull gash repair. Hope it helps. Have a Hobie day!
