Posts: 943 East Gippsland, Australia | Boga and Paynesville both have Easter regattas worth going to this year. Details on the VMCA calendar.
If anyone needs accommodation for the Paynesville Easter regatta, I need someone to stay at my place in Eagle Point, to look after our arthritic dog (no walking involved!), as I will be away for Easter. Contact me if interested - 0400 666 486

Unregistered | im sorry mitch but i dont think any mossies will be sailing up there, mitch meade might, maybe Niel not sure, gary i hear has an op going on, nic has family stuff i believe, and me i go to regatta that has most mossies so i dont know There is allways Mossies at Paynesville I will know more about, if I can sail next week after the op, if there is not too much pain Recovery by Easter should be possible as long as it's not too windy (too strenuous) . Peter N is also staying at my place, so he's sailing Paynesville. So current count is 4 Mossies, plus 1 possible That's better than none Matt and most will have spinnakers (great for the 30 nautical mile race), but I will understand if you want to sail somewhere else , where the competition is not as tough . | | | Re: Easter Regattas

Unregistered | doing this post to bump Easter Regatta thread , as I know my surgery is only important to me , the latest is 28th April that means all as normal for Easter and time to recover for Sauna Sail I hope . The Easter Regatta at Gippsland Lakes YC offers something different from the normal round the buoys racing. A long distance 30nm race, which travels around most of Lake King and part of Lake Victoria, you can spend an hour on one tack in trapeze strength breeze . Also a Around Raymond Island Race, a quick dash if the wind is up that can take less than 1hr, currently Neil Joiner holds the record on a mossie . | | | Re: Easter Regattas

Posts: 136 Thorneside | QLD | AUS | Hey there,
Just thinking about driving down for the Paynesville regatta over easter. Like the idea of the long races and mixing it with some other mossies.
If I were, any suggestions on accommodation?
There may be 3 of us, myself, gf and daughter.
