The Mug Race is less than two weeks away and before you start whining about it being just another point to point pain the butt driftathon that Brett Moss is just going to steel with his tricked out banana board wonder boat... don’t worry if it blows over 10 he’s gonna break something so wonder boy with his banana boat is not an issue trust me! What you do have to worry about is me! Everyone knows the F18 number is a gift and a blind one armed monkey can win a pursuit race on an F18. So all you bitches out there in keyboard land be prepared to get schooled by an old man that won’t shut the F!@k up!

Isn't this the same guy who called himself grand pa and threaten to whip us before, and this ole man rookie last saw him quiting on the beach miles from the finish?
I may be a rookie and not know much....but I didn't quit.

the very same, although I believe he did pull up to the finish after dark so I'll give him credit for that. The Geritol in his water bottle probably saved him

I think the other guy quit because he broke one of his high heels waiting for the wind...

One more thing, I only listen to excuses if you have put a rummy in my hand. If you do that I'll pretend to give a sh!t and everything, just like your momma.

hey can you paddle at Mug or is that illegal? Maybe not for the canoes, but for other boats?

You are allowed to paddle in order to avoid danger. As in under a bridge with adverse current. Also if in front of a commercial vessel, like a bardge in no wind and need to get out of the way. It does state that you can not paddle to advance your position in terms of competitors. So basically yes, unless you get carried away and it is obvious your are not just avoiding danger.
I believe the Mug Race rules also allow you to accept assistance to right the boat etc. and still continue racing.

Damn you're all about the paddle these days. Okay Blondie here it is:

15.8 In accordance with RRS 42.3(h), when necessary to avoid impeding the passage of vessel whose passage is not to be impeded (a barge) under the Inland Rules of Navigation, a boat may use its engine or any other means of propulsion provided it does not gain a significant advantage in the race.

15.9 Boats my use any other means of propulsion provided it does not gain a significant advantage in the race in order to trans the navigation span of the Shands Bridge. The area where this is permissible is from north of the mid-course gate to two boat lengths North of the Shands Bridge.

Even for a blond you're high maintenance.

Let this be fair warning to all those "I found a loophole in the DPN players club" I'm an A$$HOLE with no place to be and I've gotta do something to keep my A$$HOLE certification current. Yes Mr. Banana Boat I'm looking squarely at you and your buddy gigantor. :-)

WOW i will break my own rule and reply to your post.
First , I sail development boats and tend to stay towards the front of the changes, and do offer to modify other boats when requested. As I have all ways said when it is clear that the changes have a positive effect. Then we should modify the rating.
Second , As far as my buddy gigantor, I suggest you keep your eyes straight ahead when at the urinal in the mens room, or are you sitting down to pee these days.

So you called me out and there you have it, PS a major A cat regatta was just won in Italy with straight boards, and yes its true my Dad was there on holiday and gave me the first hand report on what was going on. Okay old man its back to you and waiting for your reply , and be glad I am writing this , instead of the HELP. smile

For those playing along at home my reference to gigantor is the RC 30. It's dinner time and as you can tell I'm not a man to miss a meal so I'll respond properly at a later time.

Wind Graph

Long range forecast is for a very easy sleigh ride right at the upper wind limit of the carbon wonder boat.

ROFL!

Is Gigantor the granddad of the Frankenboat line?

And Forrest can attest to my high-maintenance cred. He set up, pulled string, DROVE MY LAZY A$$ BACK TO DIYC, and broke the boat down.

He would have mixed my fru-fru drink (with umbrella) while we were bobbing up to the Skyway, but I was afraid we'd run out before the finish, and after the wind started, he was too busy pulling strings, scrubbing the hull, and tweeting my insignts on world peace (nuke the sons-of bi$ches) to my fan group (of exactly 0) ...

I mean, really. Pulling that tiller back and forth while whining does take a lot out of a sailor. And my makup was starting to run...
