We should be ashamed of ourselves, we have not posted a single message on the board of our own Association.

I am also guilty

Let's bring some action to this site!!!!

Rafael, glad to hear that John is helping with your repairs and I was glad to see you in Norris cut after we notified the Coast Guard of your MIA status. I plan to go out this Saturday 7-7 and test my new (used) mast. Will I see you out there? I will bring some Mangoes.....I think we owe you! ....he he he

Hi there !
I wish I could go this Saturday, but my house is being painted and rather be here to see what these guys will do.
John came home last Saturday and taught me how to use Marine Tex for the repairing of my daggerboards and rudders; next wend I will do the sanding part ....
John also recommended me a fiberglass repair man that know these boats very well; his name is Danny Ortiz; he too was over my house last Saturday and repaired the broken hull.
John brought me (approx.) 10 mangoes which I am really enjoying. He is a nice person, always willing to help. I hope my little ones did not scare him.
I am happy to see that you have found a new mast; ....expensive experience yours.
Talking about masts I have to seal mine as the boat went immediately turtle, so I guess the mast got flooded right after the capsize.
I will try to fill it up with water to see were it leaks and at John's suggestion seal all the leaks with silicone.
Please let me know how do you fare with the new mast.

All the best

Rafael
