hi all, i have an old 60's? australian holt rig; drilled tapering mast, fully battened roachy sail and boom from an long dead wooden moth. "11 feet (3.4 m) long, and carried 80 square feet (7.4 m2) in single mainsail"
anyone care to venture how well it work on something like a homebuilt plywood f12?

am thinking a 4mm ply version of the slab sided vudu would look good in clear coat and be a simple/fun build project that my kids would want to sail

do the vudu people sell beams?

If this rig was fully optimised it want do the job. F12 cats have much higher righting moments. If you're looking for a donar rig look at two person dinghies. What are the tube dimensions and wall thickness I'll do some calcs for you!
