Posts: 1,152 tampa, fl | After a "uncomfortable experience" at the end of the Tradewinds event, I feel it is necessary to provide the following Public Service Announcement Guide to the Man Hug: Whenever possible avoid the man hug. Here are some alternatives: 1. The old fashioned hand shake. To make the hand shake more emphatic, add shoulder pats. 2. Fist bump. 3. Arm wrestle grip hand shake and shoulder bump. If a Man Hug is absolutely necessary, please follow these simple guidelines: 1. Alternate arms, one over one under 2. No squeezing, pats on the back only! 3. At all costs, avoid cheek contact 4. HIPS OUT!!!!!!! Absolutely no pelvic contact. 5. Limit Man Hug to 1.5 to 2 seconds. Do not linger!!! I hope everyone can benefit from this advice. To protect the guilty, the innapropriate Man Hugger will not be outted, but you know who you are!!!!!

Do you have something to hide during the drill?

Posts: 3,969 | After a "uncomfortable experience" at the end of the Tradewinds event, I feel it is necessary to provide the following Public Service Announcement... At this point, you probably should have stopped and asked yourself, "How exactly is this thread going to improve attendance next year?" Then, promptly deleted the whole thing and tried to burn the memory out of your head with copious rum. Of course, I'm sure you've been trying to do the latter part for the past two days... Posts: 3,293 Long Beach, California | I confess. What can I say? He's cuddly. I had no idea he'd yelp like that... at least Beth wasn't mad at me. I thought Sweetness was going to clock me there for a minute...

Posts: 4,119 Northfield Mn | I just hug Karl as a sort of requirement to getting one from Beth.
If I hug another Karl, is that gay or masterbation? I'm so confused.
Looking forward to the 1700 mile drive home tomorrow........
I'm boatless.

Posts: 1,203 uk | Can I add that a hand shake should be RIGHT handed.
I thought that I had erased the memory of hand-shaking a German guy once - he went left-handed and I went right handed, so we just stood there holding hands on the seafront for what seemed like an eternity! Uuuurgh!

Posts: 6,049 Sebring, Florida. | .....fly some little airplanes off my lake, then go home...... They're putting Light Sports on floats?! Scary. Yeah Baby! Scary but FUN! This guy flys out of my back yard: http://lockwoodaircraft.com/Drifter.htm Here is the two engine version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHBFcaI-hp4 The Air Cam (Camera) was designed and built by Phil Lockwood (the guy flying in this video) as a photo/video platform, for a trip down the Amazon River, sponsored by National Geographic. That's why he put two engines on it. It will take off, from the water, with two people on it, on one engine! Matt has built some fiberglass floats for a LSA as well, now if I could just strap some wings and a motor on top of my Blade, I'd be out there with them right now!
