Weather looks ideal, and I personally invite you 20 drivers to blow the dust off your hull and take on those "teensy" boats.

Posts: 3,906 Clermont, FL, USA | Rodericks is a no go, something about just starting a new job and needing to impress his bosses. I tried to tell him that setting the bar high from the get go is a mistake and that performing little miracles periodically is a much better way to go but he would have nothing to do with it. Engineers always think they have it right.

You know anything about the guy that bought Ferber's in Sarasota? I don't think the boat was ever "sold". Larry has been out of the country for a year or so, and his boat is being cared for and used by the guy who crewed for him in the last Tybee 500. He is a youth sailing coach at SYS. That keeps him pretty busy on the weekends and he does not get out to many regattas.

He was gone but has been back, but I was under the impression it was sold. Just trying to beat the bushes to get a better showing against the 18s here.

Posts: 1,152 tampa, fl | As always this was one of the most fun events of the year! Thanks to Scott, Dior, Warren, and all the other volunteers that made it happen! The stretch of river that we get to sail in is absolutely beautiful! You'll never sail anywhere and see so much wildlife! Dolphins, turtles, birds, fish, chicks on jetski's, etc.
The party at Hiram's did not disapoint this year, while Sandy moved the event from the traditional Halloween party, our rowdy group of sailors stepped it up to make up the slack. Coaster fights, girls "motorboating" girls (highlight), One crew, who shall remain unnamed, spent a fair bit of the night with her pants around her knees, Matt's massive wipeout on the dance floor, Tiger-Dave's "dancing", etc.
Can't wait for next year!!!!!!
