The 2013 New England 100 will be held out of Sail Newport in Newport, RI on August 17 and 18th.

Goal is to sail approximatley 100 miles over the 2 days.
We may be experimenting with a raid style course one of the days.

Over the last few years we've had 15-20 boats with mostly F18s and a few open boats. We hope to have more of both this year!

We've also invited the newly formed Marstrom 32 fleet in Newport hoping that they will participate.

If the M32s are invited should the NOR say "All Multihulls 32' and under" or are the M32s the only multihulls invited that are greater than 22' in length (no Farriers, Corsairs, etc.)?

Thanks Tom. I'm aware of this. I'm trying to limit it from boats over 22' besides the M32s and the M32s haven't responded if they will participate or not.
Nothing against the Corsairs, we have sailed with them before but they are significantly slower and we don't have the resources to handle doing multiple courses for the slower boats. The Corsair fleet also has a regatta the following weekend in Newport that is similar to this but our fleet will be up in Canada.

If the M32s do come and someone needs a crew, sign me up!

AP until 11:00, had to make some adjustments on the fly (took out a harbor lap, changed to a reaching start to avoid another race circle).

Wind started as a light northerly, and is in the middle of a major swing south at the moment (as forecast). The fleet is drifting toward Brenton Reef, with the plan to round Acquidneck Island to port. Time will tell...

At Halfway Rock, no sign of the fleet. Wind is southerly, howling at 6 knots...

Looks like a long evening.

Just north of Dyer Island, the entire remaining fleet (14 boats) is in sight, and still pretty condensed. We stopped some stragglers earlier.

Long way to go, against the current for about another hour, and the wind is coming straight up the bay at them.

Sea breeze building to about 8 and they're starting to move faster...

Finish line is set at Rose Island, breeze back down to about five knots. Leaders in sight, still well north of the bridge.
