Unregistered | Hi Peter, I'll be there on some Mossie or other, there are at least 3 that float sitting in sheds around Eagle Point that I am sure nobody will notice if I steal. | | | Re: 8th Vic Spinnaker State

Posts: 432 McCrae Y.C. Mornington Peninsu... | Peter... I'm still recovering from the emotional scar left by being the first person rescued by your new boat I recall spending rather a lot of time stuck in your lovely mud, mast first. I've got a clash with kids sporting commitments but at this stage I'm planning on making the Sunday. Cheers

Unregistered | So come on, we don't want to hear about who's not coming (understand you can't make it Matt and Tim's in England), but who is coming?
This weekend has offered some of the best spinnaker sailing ever in the past, great place to learn to go fast with your spinnaker and nice small fleet with short races (Sunday), keeps it all close. Prior to that you get to stretch your legs in the long race Saturday.
Can't beat the local hospitality either, make a long weekend of it, bring the family and enjoy the beautiful beaches and bush away from the crowds.

Posts: 40 Victoria Australia | Buggar, that was the day I could come.... with just you and Gary responding I was looking forward to cleaning up 3rd place! Not something you'd see every day at a State Titles! Hey Simon, not everyone posts on here, there are some old mossie sailors that don't embrace such high tech stuff, give you a hint PWS , was also attending. But if you really want to improve your position in the fleet at the cat champs, why don't you see if one of those A classes that just sit around in the yard is available for me to sail? save me stealing a Mossie from Eagle Point. Gary at Petes place.

Posts: 40 Victoria Australia | Hi Simon, thanks for the offer of asking, was just kidding, but if somebody was game to lend me a boat and Insurance etc was all ok, I guess I would be up for it. Anything to help improve your finishing position. Gary (still at Petes place). | | | Re: 8th Vic Spinnaker State

Unregistered | Good call by Peter N on postponing the spinnaker states, Had a great long distance sail on Saturday, Karma Cat was flying on awesome flat water and wind gusting to 20 knots, only problem was it was too fast , with lots of reaching and only took 90 minutes . But big wind came in even earlier than expected by 6am sunday and kept going all day. But it wasn't all bad, I got back to Paynesville and had a great sailboard , using the smallest sail I have a 4.5m on my old narrow board, it was awesome and out of control at times . | | | Re: 8th Vic Spinnaker State
