Jake and Ted () take the Low Portsmouth Fleet on the Green Machine with Nigel Pitt close behind on his A-cat. Rick Harper fended off the advances of Nick Bostic from Charleston and Jason Acosta from Hartwell, GA on Hobie 16s. Nick is reported to have really enjoyed the shifty lake conditions compared to his normal Charleston Harbor sailing conditions of boring old steady breeze.
