Hi all,

We have a problem with the jib cleats on our new boat, Atreus 1727. As you can see from the pic, when you pull on the sheet the whole thing lays over and the cam cleats move away from the sheet. This makes it impossible for the crew to cleat the jib from their normal sailing position.

Any advice on how to rectify this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Greg , I use and most sailors use ronstan rf45130 http://www.ronstan.com.au/marine5/product.asp?ProdNo=RF45130 you can see that they cleat the other way and adjustable angle cleat

those are the worst jib sheet block's I have seen in along time Greg! no wonder your having trouble.
