Cleaned the hulls of my 1992 Hobie 16 several times with various products. Good results, applied specual wax immediately after.
However within weeks the hulls look very bad again...

Seems only option will be treating hulls with polishing compound (Commandant ?) decreasing and applying spray paint to finish the overhaul

Happy sailing from The Netherlands!

First polishing and then spraying paint is not a good idea.

I think your hulls need new painting after 24 year!

So first sanding, cleaning and decreasing and then one or two layers D.D. paint (Poly Service, Amsterdam or Nieuwekerk aan de IJssel).

Succes met die klus
