Hello all,
The Catamaran Racing Association of Wisconsin have finalized our 2017 regatta schedule. Although we are a membership-sustained organization, both CRAW members and non-members are welcome to compete at all of our regattas. Our regattas are attended mostly by families and we do our best to make sure the people on shore or on the spectator boats have as much fun as the competitors. Full regatta and registration details are available on our webpage.
In addition to our standard two-day weekend regattas, we are also planning on expanding youth outreach and access to catamaran sailing by featuring several events coordinated with select regattas and focused on getting kids and other non-cat sailors out on these boats and going fast. We are currently working with
Green Bay Sail and Paddle and
International Youth Sailing of Oshkosh, two WI non-profits dedicated to generating youth interest in our sport. Please consider supporting these organizations and if you are interested in participating or know somebody who might be, contact me.
