Hi everyone,
As well as being a Taipan sailor, I'm also a computer geek - don't hold it against me.
I've stumbled across a computer game/simulation called Virtual Skipper 3 which has been keeping me occupied for the past month or two whilst its been too cold to sail in Canberra (it might be that way for a while).
It's really quite fun and the best bit is that you can sail against other people in real time on the internet. There's even a program that you can run in the background, and using a microphone you can talk to each other at the same time!
You can buy it here in Australia for around $60 and you can order it on the net as well. You can sail America's Cup boats, Melges, Offshore yachts and ORMA 60' Trimarans.
James Cole and I have already been sailing against each other and it would be great if we could get a few more Taipan and F16 sailors online to join the fun. There's sailors from all over the world online including a heap of French, Spanish and Italian sailors. I actually saw world ranked match racer Bertrand Pace online the other day so they're not all just geeks with no tan and think that port is a type of drink.
