Unregistered | Hey JP! I am thinking about a nationals in 2005 sometime in early Sep in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. I have to get with the YC to firm up a date as well as race committee, etc. Maybe a 3 day event. This should give everyone a chance to up their rigs. FL Keys are nice but very out-of-the-way for almost everyone. Granted, I'm probably closer to the Keys than I am to GA, but we need to do everything possible to ensure a good showing to this event.

In January I don't think you want to have a regatta near the Georgia/FLorida border.., unless you are a Polar Bear. And because we have such a big participation, it would be very, very good exposure for this newborn class.., if it is born yet. And, of course, it will be sure to get great media coverage as this is where Mary and I live. Rick | | |
