JD & I are booked at Gilbert's for the weekend and it looks like are ground crew is bailing out on us. Can anybody give us a lift back to Gilbert's after Day 1. We will have a Ford Explorer for someone to drive if they or their team needs a lift.

Thanks,

I can't say for sure but we will have several ground crew members(wives)so we should be able to work something out. The only problem would be if the shopping is good !!

Everyone usually finds a ride back, one way or the other. Planning for the race is a good idea, but things just always seem to gel. God has blessed it every year except the 13th annual race on Saturday the 13th -- all hell broke loose and 5 out of 45 boats finished. The rest were spread all over the shore line and two boats were never recovered.
No human loss, but it was close.
Hope that never happens again. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
