Not F-14 related:

Did you buy your Blade built or did you buy the plans from Phill, I was in contact with him about a year ago but lost touch. Is it as fast as she looks.

CABB: I used to get the news letter from J. Mcknight but i don't any more. I just uncovered my hobie for the first time in a year today 'cause it's my b-day Fri and i wanna take it out.

Have fun in that race stay safe.

Ricky

What are you going to use for a pole?

I have read, here, of people using windsurfer masts.

Cool!!
I used a "skinny" windsurfer mast for one of my poles and a two-piece carbon pole for the other. Both worked well, but the two piece was more convenient.

I ran a carriage bolt through the front beam right under the mast. My pole just slips onto the protruding end of the carriage bolt. Others have used other methods, but this one is easy and slick. If you have the factory dolphin striker (like the 16) you'll have to figure something else out..

You can use your stock jib blocks in their stock position, but you will probably want a barber hauler to adjust the slot.

Rick has the whole package on this website, so you can probably knock it out in one order.

If you want to talk about it, you can call me--757-589-6920
