As a resent transplant to the East, I'm looking for regattas and cat sailing events with in 200 nm of my location in West Virginia.

What part of WV are you in? There are several events in Ohio that might fit the bill. Check the OCRA website to see where they were last year. Alum Creek, Columbus OH, will be holding a regatta on May 6 & 7.

We are a little outside of that region but do attract some folks from the Virginia area from time to time. Our schedule and locations are at www.emsa-sailing.org.

Once again depending on where in West Virginia you live:

WRCRA: West River Catamaran Racing Association in Galesville, MD

OR

CRAC: Catamaran Racing Association of the Chesapeake

The WRCRA supports weekly weeknight racing series, while CRAC supports invitational events. At the very least you could make it out to CRAC events!

See ya on the water!

NC and Tennessee area is EMSA (Eastern Multihull Sailing Association). http://www.emsa-sailing.org There's not a whole lot going on in Tennessee. Theres a bit in N.C. (Charlotte, Raleigh, Hattaras areas), and a good bit in S.C. and G.A. (Hartwell, GA (Spring Fever); Atlanta, GA, Seneca, SC, Columbia, SC, Charleston, SC, etc.).
