Posts: 192 WEST. MICH. USA | The music is the sound of the wind and the waves. I like the sound of water all over. Very tranquil, I sleep a lot on the bigger boats, not much on the cat due to water down the neck when I lay down. | | | Re: Music

Posts: 915 Dublin, Ireland | I guess one could really get into a groove single handing in high winds with music. I find that, when racing singlehanded, I either sing or whistle most of the time during a race. It helps me concentrate. I never do it when sailing with a crew - I talk a lot then, keeping my crew up to date.

Posts: 55 Los Angeles, CA | Anyone have any recommendations on listening to music while sailing? More like something like an IPOD or something. Contemplating the same thing myself. iPod in a drybag with a Bluetooth connection to the headphones for example. Anyone know of any waterproof/weatherproof Bluetooth headphones? Other strategies?

Posts: 2,921 Michigan | Sirius Radio - boom box in a dry bag, w/ satelite radio you get anything. But, I'm with Tad - my favorites are channel 31 - Radio Margaritavile and 32 - nothing but reggae. Enjoy! Sirius 33 or 36, trance... | | |
