Anyone here on the west coast (Div. 2) interested in racing the wave? Maybe something like they are doing in Florida. If so, i'd be willing to bring my wave to the Div. 2 regattas.

There are a number of Div 2 races that have a start for Waves. Check the DIV 2 forum at www.hobiecat.com/community

Make a post in there about it. Someone should get you the information about what regattas they may be at this year.

Hi Scott I have been bring my Wave to the Division 2 races in Mexico for a couple of years now. They usally start me with the 14s and the 16 c fleet. sometimes there are 1 or 2 other Waves in addition to mine.

Our next Reggatta is Cinco de Mayo, May 6 and 7 in Puerto Penasco Mx. Its a great place with a campground right on the beach. go to Fleet 514's web page for the details. I am hearing that there will be 5 or more Waves on the beach.
A lot of hobie guys drive over from California, some staying a week or more. both this and the Pinata Ragatta in the fall -Oct.7and 8 - are world class. Great food, cold tecate, blue sky and a good chance of a pod of dolphins to sail with.

Also its a real easy crossing into Mexico were most of us cross at Lukeville with a straight 60 mile shot of good road to the beach

Hey George,
Are you ever coming back to Put-in-Bay? We missed you.
It will be the North Coast Championship this year and expect around 15 boats.

Hi Rick.
I didn't see you post until just now. where have I been?
But as it turns out I will be taking my Wave back to Michigan this summer and while I hadn't thought about Put in Bay before
I am now. Know a reasonably priced place to stay with AC?

George
