Already been searching on the Farrier/Corsair group, figured I'd ask the question here as well...

It seems it's time to replace my F-27 wing nets. It seems the defacto standard is $unrise, with some getting them from Mentor (no website?).

Anybody have any other sources to suggest? If you got from other than Sunri$e (Mentor, local canvass maker, etc.) what was the pricing like and did you like the product?

I had a fisherman make knotted nets for a ridiculous price. A high tech solution I considered was to use knotless dyneema nets (www.net-sys.com/knotless.htm). It seems that it does not need any reinforcement in the periphery - just cut and use. This makes the price reasonable.

That's very interesting on the Dyneema nets not needing periphery reinforcement - that's certainly where the time must be in making these things. Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.

I am just passing a tip received from Kurt Hughes and that interested me at that time. It seems that the company regularly sells nets for multihulls: after I called them, they mailed me a quote with proper size recommendations for tramps, two samples, stretched sizes, etc.
