Posts: 1,187 38.912, -95.37 | 5.9 It must be possible to fully assemble (disassemble) the F12 craft from (into) its individual parts in no more then 10 minutes. Is it OK for the competitor to enlist help from an 8-year old to insure this may be accomplished within the alloted 600 seconds? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Ohh, it should have read.
5.9 It must be possible to fully assemble (disassemble) the F12 craft from (into) its individual parts in no more then 10 minutes BY A SINGLE PERSON.
I think the latter is a key point of the rule, otherwise a design can just bring a full ten men team to the job.

Reading the specs for the F12 "box", looks like this is leaning towards more of what you needed.
Notice the length shrunk from 3.9 (12',10") to 3.7 meters (12',1&2/3"). The sail size is reduced from 9 to 7 sq. meters.
55kg minimum weight is probably easier to attain now as well.
Should calm it down a bit, not as much of a giant killer.
