Thank you Jeremy for getting the thread back on track with that kind of threat!

Personally I was expecting to do this regatta then say no more I have done it once and that is fine. That did not happen. As soon as Eileen and I finished the race we were planning on how to make it easier next year, logistically and sailing-wise. Though sailing-wise I did not expect it to be as comfortable as it was. Every F18 that I talked with after the finish had a great time. I think we will all do it again and will be able to talk it up to 15 (maybe 20) next year.

We (me, John W, Pease and others) will put a nice package of information together for the participants next year to make it easier. Information like how to handle autos and trailers, how to get around the course, conditions to expect, supplies to bring and so forth.

As I mentioned in an earlier post this was a "soft" long distance race. Meaning that with the chase boat, Jeremy and the trailers of Daisy and Frank, we were all pretty sure everything would be okay. Easing the sailors minds definitely made the fun factor go way up!

Thank you all, Sailors Support and RC for a great weekend!

Later,
Dan
