The short scenes for Sponge Bob Square Pants were done at Universal in the Jaws tank. Peanut worm productions is doing the film and the actual ocean shots were done with a NACRA F-18 (Which I sailed) and a NACRA 4.5 (Sailed by Michael Bradley).

I did the sailing consulting for the movies and like anything else that is shot in bulk I fully expect to make it all the way to the cutting rrom floor. But hey, you never know.

The original concept was to run over Patrick with the catamaran. Not sure that worked out though. The shark tank scenes gave them fits.

As always it was fun to be included in a MAJOR PRODUCTION in hopes of promoting the sport to kids!
