Ok first off I'd like to introduce myself .... My name is Sarah and I live in Kuwait. I've been sailing since I was 11 (on dinghies) but I started sailing catamarans 2 yrs ago (and man was I missing out before). I used to have an account here (sarah19) but since I am no longer 19 (Im turning 21 in june) and cant seem to remember the pw for that account .. I created this one.

Well now that thats out of the way .. I'm considering upgrading from the used H16 I bought 2 yrs ago for practice and buying the Balance A from Spain for my 21st birthday. I mostly sail solo (my dad or friends might join me every once in a while). Im 172cm tall and my weight is a bit less than 70kg. The winds here aren't too strong so its great for sailing. I also live by the ocean so I'd be sailing a lot. Money isnt really an issue since I make my own money though trading in the foreign exchange.

Long story short .... What do you guys think about the Balance A? should I consider another catamaran? the marstrom A-cat perhaps? And what about spi? any other things I should consider? any other customizations?

One of the reasons why I decided on the Balance A is because its made in Spain and thats pretty close to where I live compared to where the other cats are manufactured .. and I go there every summer.
