Someone had better tell New England Ropes that what they have been selling to boaters for 30 years is not rope, it is line.

Quote from their web site:
"New England Ropes is the rope of choice for all types of boats, from dinghies to ocean racers, and runabouts to mega yachts. When you need a rope to deliver performance and quality, you can trust New England Ropes.

Get Your Hands on the Best Rope in the World"
Thats right, they sell ROPES, not LINES. If you call them up and tell them to sell you a 30ft "ROPE" guess what, that "ROPE" is no longer a rope. It is now a LINE. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
