I'm looking for small single hander to convert it into beach cruiser for extended weeklong trips.
Boat should handle second person for day sailing also.

Speed of the boat is not that important, but I'd like to have something relatively fast and performance oriented.

I run across SC15, relatively cheap.
I can not find any info on the boat on Internet, it seems small Supercats are rare birds.

Can anybody give me as much info as possible on the boat?
How well does she perform? Size of sails? How heavy is a boat? (It looks heavy). Is it possible to step/unstep mast solo? How heavy is a mast? What is a wind range for safely handling? Does it have reef options like bigger sisters? How well she goes to weather? (I've never had experience with boardless boats).
Rough water/surf?

How easy to right it, even with shroud extenders?

How strong is she built?

I didn't speak with an owner yet, but boat has extensive damage on one bow (fixed but not finished) and one transom cracked. (It seems like rudder hit something hard and didn't kick up. Crack is filled but not reinforced)

Tell me that I don't need a third boat!

Thanks
Vladimir

I say get it! I have both a Supercat 15 and a 17, and really enjoy them both! According to the orginal brochures the 15 weighs in at 300 lbs. and with the jib it has 209 sq. feet of sail. I sail mine solo or have had three people on it. It is a fast little boat with plenty of hull volumn. Parts can still be had at Aquarius Sail and the people there are the greatest! They can and will help you in any way they can. The greatest thing about these boats are the hull designs and there lack of pitchpole tendency. I think once you sail one it will be your only boat, unless you find a ARC 22 or 30 to buy!

To answer a few more of your questions:
I don't have shroud extensions on my 15 but it rights easily with two people, probably could do it with one if the wind was right.
It goes to weather very well, but you have to keep the leeward hull deep in the water. It may seem scary at first, but you will see that that is the way they like it and point very well when sailed this way. I know from sailing other brands of cats that that seems to be the last thing you want to do, (pitchpole) but just try it! Bill Roberts knew what he was doing when he designed these hulls.
I've found mine to be very well built and strong.
I put the mast up and down myself with little problem and am sure that you could figure out a way to rig it yourself.
They are fun , fast little boats!
