Unregistered | Had a zipper that was corroded REAL bad to the metal slide. Soaked it overnight and it cam loose. Try CLR (Calcium, Lime and Rust) if you can find it.

Posts: 5,582 “an island in the Pacifi... | After soaking it in penetrating oil for a while you might tap on the pins with a punch from underneath.
If you can't break it loose it might be easier to remove the gudgeons from the boat and cut the pins. Repalce the gudgeons and pins and polish the holes in the rudder castings before assembly. US Sail Level 2 Instructor US Sail Level 3 Coach | | |
