They are a development class still popular with the single hull crowd. The trapeze was a radical new development popular at the time. A guy named Carter Pyle brought an interesting contraption to one regatta. It was the P-cat.
I remember being amazed one could have a drink of water by just dipping in a cup.

Posts: 1,037 Central California | ...and after peeling off our wetsuits, grabbing a bite and a drink, slopping on some more sunscreen, hitting the men's room and arguing for awhile about that mess in the Middle East- Doc and i pulled our "off the shelf" F16's to the side and helped the first couple skiffs to finish onto the beach and their dollies... Indeed. Of course, nothing we can do or say can convince the other 200 dinghy sailors at the event that we finished the race and our lunch before the I14s <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
