I was saying that a class like the Sunfish had their day and even though that class still has sizeable OD events it is not the future of dinghy sailing.

That is not poo-pooing, that is looking honestly at the situation at hand.

Any statements otherwise will only delay us unnecessarily in getting back on track.

You don't fight the next war in a Sherman tank or P-51 mustang either.
