Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create in allusion of rapid global warming.
Exactly. Finally some truth. And I guess this is sailing related because we as sailors are interacting with the natural world while practicing our sport?
This whole pinko, care-for-our-environment-thing is so played. Why should we care what our car spews out of the tailpipe, or what chemicals they spray on the crops? Like any of these chemicals could really affect ocean life when it runs into the bay. PAALLEEASE! Recycle used motor oil? It's like fertilizer to the coral reef! That's where my used oil goes, right down the bathtub drain and onto the coral reef. I don't wear a respirator when fixing my boat! The body is tough and resilient; don't need one, they're for liberal democrats and people that watch too much Discovery Channel. Gullible people!
There is no way that human activity could affect the entire planet. They want us to think that the planet is is just one big global community; like a big neighborhood or even just a giant house.
Since we all know global warming is a farce set up by some liberal court in San Francisco by a bunch of hippie activist judges working for Greenpeace, we should prove it wrong. I say we do a pollution experiment on a small scale.
Using the 'Earth is your Home' model that I heard from one of my hippie college professors. Go into your living room and in the center of the floor, bare it all, and drop a huge 'steamer'. Don't bother cleaning it up. Collect data on your "environment" for a month. I bet you'll find that your little 'human activity' did not affect your 'environment' one bit. You can add more 'pollution' to the pile if you wish to simulate more 'cars' and 'factories'. Heck, you could even have your friends come over and add more 'pollution' and you could simulate a big city like NY or LA.
Can you still sit on the couch, watch TV and sip a cold beer amongst your 'pollution'? See, no damage to your 'environment. No such thing as 'global warming'.
If your wife tries to tell you to clean up your 'environment' tell her she's an
and there's nothing to worry about. She's just been 'duped'. She might as well join
the Governor of California, school teachers and, in many cases, well informed but very gullible environmental conscientious citizens
and just get off your back.
Post the data from your small-scale environmental experiment here, just so we all can see how there is no possibility of pollution from "human activity" affecting the "environment" whatsoever. I'm sure that our collective data will reveal that we shouldn't worry about spewing anything into our environment.
Why should we care? It's our American right to burn as much oil as we can afford.
