Just read a comment somewhere (I think it was in Sailing World) by Stuart Walker that all the old monohull O.D are thriving i.e. Lightnings,Snipes,Stars... where as the new designs have a limited and fleeting following.I think you will see and are seeing the same trend in multihulls.
